1999 North England Championships
March 99 saw a competitive opportunity for the younger Heathrow Sports Aerobics athletes. The North of England Championships in York saw the athletes come away with a haul of medals.At the end of march the Heathrow Sports Aerobics trio faced a tough challenge
as the Berlin Open Championships were used as a trial for selection for
the World Championships. The Heathrow trio were up against the Pinewood
team. The girls worked hard to place higher than the Pinewood team and
also made the final. This guaranteed their place in the World Championships
squad.
